TV3 Summer Occasion Wear

After spending the spring in hibernation we all start to have wardrobe dilemmas when all the summer wedding invites roll in or when we have loads of events to go to.  I styled six looks on TV3s Sunday AM show featuring show stopping dresses, suits and accessories perfect for those summer events from Simply Suits, Vanilla Boutique and Vanilla Shoe Boutique with Lockdown Models and Andrea Roche Model Agency.

TV3 Winter Textures

Winter for me is all about rich fabrics mixed together to create luxe combinations and super stylish and cosy outfits.  On Sunday I styled six looks from Douglas Village Shopping Centre on TV3's Sunday AM show.  I chose a mix of outfits suitable for casual daywear, smart casual and some Christmas day and party wear so whatever texture you like there's a combination for you.

Saturday AM Show: Transitional Dressing

Hey guys,

So just getting around to posting a few pics from my styling segment on TV3s Sunday AM show which was aired on Sunday the 11th.  The theme was transitional dressing and I think it's something that stresses a lot of us out when the weather plays havoc with our wardrobe choices.  All the looks were chosen from Douglas Court Shopping Centre and I have to say they have such a great selection of shops out there.

Hope you enjoy the pics!

The Saturday AM Show

On Saturday I was up in Dublin styling looks for Douglas Court Shopping Centre for my regular styling feature on TV3's Saturday AM show. For this slot I focused on choosing looks that were really going to help your wardrobe transition from Summer to Autumn.  The weather is so crazy at the moment that I know people want to buy great basic pieces that they can style up depending on the weather.
Here are a few pics from the show.  Sorry about the crappy quality they were just a few quick shots from my phone.  If you missed the show and want to check it out you click on the links below:

A Most Fashionable Week

I've been seriously busy lately so unfortunately the blogging has taken a little bit of a back seat but I'm trying to make more of an effort to schedule in some time to do it.  Last week was a serious fashion week here in Cork what with it being MSL Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week Cork and I headed along to two pretty amazing shows.  On Wednesday the fashion crowd headed to Ballymaloe for the Irish design show and fashion awards.  Yours truly had the honour of being nominated for stylist of the year though I ended up losing out to stylist Irene O' Brien so even though I was disappointed I felt I had lost to a deserving winner so it was all good!

On Saturday I was in complete work mode as fellow stylist Sarah Corcoran and I were styling the Cork Style show which was a celebration of all things stylish in Cork from boutiques, high street brands and designers.  The night was a huge success and major congratulations have to go to two inspiring ladies Emer and Vivienne from Lockdown Models who as per usual did an amazing job of pulling the whole week together.

Here's a few pics of the Opera Lane collection that I styled:

A Very Fantastical Photoshoot

I've been a bit quiet on the blogging front recently as I've had a lot going on work wise and have been travelling up to Dublin quite a bit but I've finally managed to take a day to work from home so I've been catching up on paperwork and doing some much needed blog posts.  I really wanted to share these images from a shoot I styled a little while back with an amazing team of fellow creatives.  Along with designer Samantha Kennedy and photographer Simon Curran we came up with the concept of a character who transformed from being something quite simple to being almost like a woodland queen or warrior.

We started off with styling, hair and make-up being quite pared back and with each image built up the layers of the character.  As always I had great fun shooting with this awesome team and I hope you enjoy our work.
