Jump for Joy
I was going through my camera, clearing out old photos and the like and I came across some pictures of me at my cousins christening during the Summer. It was also the day that the boyf surprised me with my Jump From Paper bag which I had been harping on about wanting one for ages. It's totally got me dreaming of Summer dressing.

Fashionable Folk
I'm pretty rubbish at taking pictures of myself wearing clothes in a street style/blogger fashion, I've made my peace with that. I do however love a good street style snoop so I've decided to document all the marvellously dressed folk that I come across in my day to day life.
First up is the always fabulously turned out Leona O' Sullivan Breen from Le Chat Noir Vintage Events and the Oh Me, Oh My DIY workshops. I love Leona's fab mix of vintage and high street which is always accessorized to perfection.
Tell me a little bit about the outfit:
Both tee shirt and skirt were purchases from the River Island summer sale this year, shoes are last year (or even the year before i think) Betty Jackson for debenhams..bag is from Zara....love to shop in all or our cities amazing vintage stores like Miss Daisy Blue, Turquoise Flamingo and Mercury Goes Retrograde and high street (H&M, Zara and River Island). I love etsy for unique jewellery ("Archie" gold bar chain from made by Mary etsy store)
I'm incredibly nosy, give me an unknown interesting fact about yourself:
I don't like to brag but I did come second in a bonnie baby contest in carrigtohill in 1982..
Guurrlll you was robbed!!

Oh Baby! Photoshoot
I'm a firm believer in people still being able to retain their personal style during and after pregnancy so I was delighted when my favourite maternity and infant mag Oh! Baby Magazine asked me to style some articles showcasing and discussing maternity and post maternity style. Instead of me preaching the do's and don'ts I decided that it would be far more interesting to actually show the readers how real life super stylish Moms are doing it.
Luckily I know a couple of these said Moms so for the Spring issue my friend, the very lovely Cathy O'Donoghue very kindly agreed to let me interview and style her for my piece. Cathy is the owner of the online vintage store Turquoise Flamingo a store where I have purchased some of my most favourite vintage pieces over the years. Cathy also designed my new logo and this blog which I absolutely adore. I love Cathys sense of style and that combined with the amazing work from White Cat Studio photography, Sinead Egan MUA and Andrew Cronin from The Edge Hair Design. made for a thoroughly enjoyable shoot.
Here's some behind the scenes pics from the shoot and the article.
Enjoy!!
Major thanks also to Perry St. Cafe for allowing us to use their fab restaurant as our location.
Toodles,
